On Samsara, there is a balance. The beasts hunt their prey. We hunt them. For every beast there is a way. The ambush. The sprint. Run them down over days. Sometimes we must use the very landscape as a weapon.

For those creatures who are too fierce to engage with blades or hands, we force them into ravines or against cliffs where other hunters can drop heavy rocks onto them. In the latter case some must act to coerce the beast into position. These warriors must become the very epitome of ferocity.

To instill fear into an apex predator of a kind worth hunting as an unaugmented human requires them to channel a terrifying primal aspect. Imagine the result when such men are rendered into astartes.’
